Vancouver-headquartered B2Gold says it remains on track for strong fourth-quarter gold production, after its mines in Africa and the Philippines exceeded production targets for the third quarter, ended September 30.

The company's total gold production for the third quarter, including pre-commercial production from the Goose mine, in Canada, was 254 369 oz, compared with the 180 525 oz of gold produced in the third quarter of 2024.

For the full-year, production from the Fekola mine, in Mali; the Otjikoto mine, in Namibia; and the Masbate mine, in the Philippines, is expected to be between 890 000 oz and 965 000 oz, while the Goose mine is expected to deliver between 50 000 oz and 80 000 oz of gold for the year.

B2Gold reiterates that operations at its Fekola mine continue unimpeded and that the operation is expected to produce between 515 000 oz to 550 000 oz of gold for the full-year.

The company posted net income of $23-million for the third quarter, compared with a net loss of $631.03-million reported for the third quarter of 2024.
